Hot Stone massage therapy is a style of massage that uses both hot stones, as well as numerous massage methods, to achieve profound relaxation and health. The hot stones are usually volcanic rocks, such as basalt, and the cool stones are sedimentary rocks, such as marble. The stones may be heated or chilled to different degrees, and they can be of any form or size. A peaceful massage follows the placement of the client's selected stones around and on their body.
